Mid-American Grill

This place was great! Everything cooked and seasoned just right and generous portions too. Our waitress was friendly and helpful too. Also, I enjoyed the atmosphere.

I'm a connoisseur of a good steak. the New York strip steak I had was done to perfection and absolutely delicious. also had mashed potatoes and a side salad. that is the best dinner I've had in a long time. Heather, my waitress was very attentive. she has the kind of personality that puts you at ease with a warm smile. she took some time to chat with me as I was getting ready to leave. that was quite nice. I would like to thank her for that.

Loved outside. Inside cozy. But wait staff was slow and my dinner the Cajun pasta was cold when I received mine but friends was hot they did take it back,and as long as took to get back they must have made new. Great variety on the menu to choose from. Would try again. But they had full staff so we will see next time.

Been to the Grill a few times...usually very good. Today was not one of those times. However, I did order something different than usual.
But first let's start with my beverage. Ordered a diet coke, very little ice in my glass with a very flat mix over the minuscule amount of ice.
So let's get to the meal... ordered the fettuccine pasta dish with the chicken as an additional cost which was very pricey considering the amount of pieces of chicken that I got. $3.00 additional charge.
Now call me crazy! But I thought fettuccine was served hot with (fettuccine noodles)? Not linguine noodles that were over cooked yet not hot? Sauce was very thin, not sure what caused this? My guess is that the noodles were not properly drained or just saturated with the over cooking.
Anyway, maybe an off day for the kitchen or maybe trying to do too much on the menu? Hopefully the next visit will be better.

Less expensive than my dining partner remembered. Big portions that are high quality. More bang for your buck when feeding more than two people with one starter. It's fantastic. It's a very family friendly environment. Will be back.
