San Marco's Mexican Restaurant #5

Best Mexican food I have had in a long time. It was actually fresh cooked. The menu is huge. If you can't find something you like, I don't know why. The service is exceptional. We will definitely eat there again.

I ordered three dinners to go. I ordered and it was ready within 10-15 minutes. Excellent taste on all of our food.

The thing that stood out to me most, is everything that was in my to go bag was neatly wrapped in clear food wrap to prevent anything from spilling! Huge plus. Also, the big plastic bag with hard plastic handles was awesome. Overall, good job San Marcos Newcastle crew. You have a new loyal customer ✌🏼

This is one of the better Mexican restaurants that I have frequented. I was surprised by how spacious the dining area is. I always judge Mexican restaurants by their chimichangas. They must have ground beef as an option, although I would prefer a veggie option, such as spinach. The shell was nice and crispy, and the inside of shell was warm. My husband had the lunch fajitas plate, which is not on the sizzling plate...they do offer that option, though. He said it was delicious. Although they were busy, service was excellent

I enjoyed that they bring out chips with salsa and queso they bring out. The salsa was not very good. The main entree was really wonderful. The serves was very pleasent. I would recommend the chimichanga.

We went for lunch and our entrees were $12 each. We had very good service.
My chicken enchiladas were excellent. The wife’s taco salad was ok but the shell was only half full with very little meat. Also she had a small puddle of fat that had drained off of what shredded beef there was.
It was quite cold in the restaurant and we had to keep our coats on. Get a booth if you can because the chairs are hard and uncomfortable.
