Great food! Got there around 5pm on a Wednesday, was seated immediately. Louisiana Shrimp was delicious. Fantastic atmosphere and service, especially if you have the good fortune of being served my Kayla! Very kind, attentive, and great sense of humor!
All around good experience! 🙂
What an incredible find in such a beautiful town!
I took my girlfriend to Broken Bow for a weekend birthday trip and tried to find a really nice restaurant for good food, atmosphere and entertainment. I’m excited to say that I found all three with Abendigo’s!
The food was fantastic! We ordered the Sicilian Nachos as an appetizer and let me tell you, that was the best choice of the nice. The chips were fresh, the Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, and jalapeño combination made the app pop!
Then onto the entree with Chicken Fried Steak and Pasta Louisiana. All amazing choices!
The service was friendly and attentive to our needs. There was live music playing outside. The atmosphere was homey and down-to-earth. We loved and will definitely be back next time we’re in Broken Bow.
My husband ordered the brisket tacos which included two hearty tacos and house made chips and queso. I ordered the cheeseburger which was good but pretty basic, nothing fancy or unique about the burger. The garlic mashed potatoes were very good though. We ordered a cheesecake for dessert which was incredibly small and basically like a grocery store cheesecake. Our meal was nothing special but there wasn’t anything to complain about. The prices seemed a bit high for what we got but again not really anything to fuss over.
The food was good but the rest of the experience was less than desirable. We went early since being older we do like to avoid crowds. We made early reservations and were seated. We put in our wine and appetizer order which was delivered promptly. Felt like we were being rushed when we were immediately asked for the rest of order before we got our appetizer. There was something odd going on since female employees kept running back and forth to the bathroom, appeared to look under the stalls, then came running back. Males and females both kept running back and forth to the front door, kitchen, and elsewhere for some inapparent reason. We kept feeling like we were being rushed out of the restaurant. At the end, I asked the hostess/hostesses if they were looking for someone dead in the bathrooms or what. Of course there was no response. If you're looking for somewhere for a nice, relaxing, more expensive dinner, this is not the place. I kept waiting for the police to show up or the place to explode.
