City Bites

Everything Baja is incredible.

The chef salad is tasty, BUT, after I paid almost $10 for it, I realize I need to bring my own lunch to work and stop going to city bites so much. It’s always tasty and fresh l, but it costs too much for what you get, plus there is no egg on this. Egg comes on a chef salad.

So City Bites have brought out a new product. Macaroni and cheese. Now you may be tempted to order this as a side. For adults, just say no. That mac and cheese is just Blue Box Macaroni and cheese and they use too much butter in the mix. It's normally $0.50 a box at walmart, and you'll get maybe a 4th of a portion with possibly burnt noodles like I did. They charge $2.99 as a side. It would be great as a kid's side, but if you're an adult, don't order it. It's highway robbery for such a bland product. Go to KFC in the same area for better mac and cheese. Also the 3 stars is for their terrible bathroom. Like being at a nasty gas station bathroom. Pieces missing from the wall, your feet stick to the floor...just wasn't pleasant. Little longer than normal wait time for food as well.

Tends to be the first thing we think of when discussing grabbing a late lunch that will probably double as dinner. Nice variety on their menu and good portions of food. Those peanut butter cookies are sooooo good too!
