This is my go to BBQ place. Prices are great and the staff is amazing. I would stop in just for the carrot cake if I was in the mood for something sweet.

I CANT GET ENOUGH OF THE FISH, RIBS, BRISKET, PULLED PORK, GREENS & POTATO SALAD!!!! GREAT SERVICE!!! GREAT FOOD!!! First let me address the other review: I’ve been eating here since the original owners opened & none of their meats are dry at all. The ribs are seasoned and SMOKED so well that you don’t need sauce & so tender that you don’t need teeth or you may assume their boiled despite the BBQ Pit obviously sitting in front you when you come in. There wouldn’t be several reviews of smelling BBQ from next door if they were boiling meat. I support small businesses & hate to see that one in every bunch who makes it a point to spread lies about an establishment. Hopefully she’s done spreading lies. If you know BBQ then you know these folks are doing it right. There’s not another place in the city with food this good. The franchises most people are use to going to serve you processed and frozen ribs from a box to a grill or oven. When you walk in you can see the HUGE BBQ PIT that they (Big Boy’s) smokes their meat on. Anyone who has anything negative to say about this place is either someone attempting to open a restaurant of their own or is miserable in their life. I don’t understand how people can eat poison from a drive thru but have the nerve to spread lies about a business owned by great people with a great spirit & who are more than nice to everyone who walks through those doors. You won’t get the same quality of service or food from a dollar menu. KEEP IT UP BIG BOYS!!! Keep supporting the community & being great regardless of how foul people could be. God sees your efforts and so do we.

The barbecue was delicious. Had a little of most of the meat options. Was too late in the day for brisket unfortunately, they were fresh out. It all was fantastic. I think the pulled pork was my favorite. Some good smoke rings on the barbecue too! Definitely take out, not sit down really. It was cash-only when I went. Totally worth it!

I am new to the city and have wandered about in search of some great BBQ. I happened upon this gem and have been awed by the superb taste of several dishes. Being a native of St Louis and having also lived in Kansas City, flavorful bbq is a must. Big Boys will not disappoint! The slow smoked ribs, fish, brisket, and onion burger are outstanding.
The aroma of the place gives further authenticity of the preparation process. Great owners, friendly welcomes, and safe environment. Cash only; there is an ATM next door (no withdrawal fee for my credit union card).
