Steaks were cooked perfectly. The sweet potato waffle fries were delicious, just a few over cooked.
Kristie was an awesome server.
The restaurant was clean.
I Definitely recommend trying. They also have daily specials Monday through Friday
BlackBerry cobbler with vanilla ice cream was to die for.

The special of the day was a 2.99 chicken fry and it was a million times better than I was expecting. Excellent service and the house made mashed potatoes were amazing. The cocktails were great and they had 2.25 happy hour long necks. Great experience and I look forward to eating here again.

I have driven past this place for years never given it a second thought, not because it is dirty, it's just on the south side.. not many places worth eating at here. We decided to give it a go. We were seated quickly on a Saturday evening, usually not a good sign..I went the safest route as I was starving and just got a burger and fried okra. It was really good, cooked through but not burned, juicy.Fresh veggies, fresh bun. The okra. Get the fried okra. Just do it. My husband got a steak. He said it delicious, I stole a bite. He wasn't lying. Our waitress provided the best service we have had in years. Prompt, polite, accurate with our orders, neither of our drinks ever got below 3/4 full. She was attentive and friendly without being annoying. The restaurant was clean and played some great classic rock. We will definitely be back. Bonus! We don't have to drive to the north side or downtown for a decent meal, it's right down the street!
