Very fresh and hot chicken with a lot of honey. Was a little nervous about location late at night but it was fine.
Some of the best chicken I have ever had. They smoke the chicken and then flash fry it to make it nice and crispy. The fries are average but go well with the honey. Make sure to say yes when they ask if you want honey and cayenne. It’s absolutely delicious. The biscuits are also unreal.
Waited an hour after they were supposed to be open because I've heard such great things. Their chicken tastes like liquid smoke to the max. The tenders would be fantastic without the insane amount of fake smoke. French fries were just store bought and then fried, lets be real. The biscuits were amazing though and didn't disappoint. this place seems like somewhere people grew up by and it just became a staple of the area.
This place has the best fried shrimp around, I recommend getting a combo. There is almost always a line but it moves pretty quick. The shrimp are made to order so they are always super fresh and get the extra honey!
Great biscuits and catfish! I think I literally downed 4 biscuits by myself. However, I feel the smoke flavor in the chicken is way overpowering. Fried chicken doesn’t need to be that complicated. I’d prefer their wings without that strong smoke flavor. Also, the fries are definitely not worth your time (reminiscent of old freezer fries).
If you come here definitely get the catfish!
