Charleston's Restaurant

I had the chicken friend steak, it was delicious! The staff was great and the overall restaurant was not obnoxiously loud like most restaurants today. You could actually hear the person across from you without yelling. I brought home a plate for my partner, it was just as good re-heated!

Today is my lucky day. Came into town from up nort' (Wisconsin) and followed up on a recommendation to visit here. Luckily my excellent server Jasmine recommended an off menu special of NY strip. Good call. I was intrigued by the idea of a rum old fashioned on the menu. Great drink, well executed. It got me interested in the rum that went into it so I tried it neat and it's incredible. Great food, great service. Very laid back. Usually when they make it look easy its really not. But they do a great job here on all levels. Music, lighting, comfort, service, taste etc. Lots of regulars, lots of families. Wish I could take you all back home with me. Thank you, Jasmine, and all of Jasmine's awesome friends!

Update: if I win the lottery I'm going to hire Oklahoma people to go to Wisconsin to give clinics on how to make cobbler

This was our first visit to Charleston's in OKC. We were not disappointed. The wait staff were attentive and courteous. While many places charge to substitute sides, they ask you if you want to substitute a side and there is no charge. The mashed potatoes were great, the ribs were fall of the bone, the chicken was juicy and flavorful. My steak was cooked to perfection. The staff works as a team. We saw the manager ringing up tabs at the bar. Other wait staff would bring drinks if they were empty and they communicated with each other. I will definitely be back.

Love this place. Food is always awesome and consistent. The service is fabulous and very high class but not overpriced. Everyone works together to make sure you are served well. The bar is great. Super comfortable atmosphere HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
