The wings were cooked perfectly, the atmosphere is good, and the service was excellent. Most of the flavors we tried were excellent. The curry, however, was not. The curry sauce had an off putting sliminess and just wasn't flavorful.
I asked about the peppers galore(hottest available) and the waitress said the heat level was unbearable. Perfect, I'm a pepper head. It was a very tasty wing but the heat level was medium at best. Needless to say I was disappointed.
I will definitely be back and hope they add some more flavors in the near future.
A way better Buffalo Wild Wings. Always really busy so be prepared to wait a bit since the dining area is fairly small. Favorite sauce is Mango Thai Chili (It's more sweet than spicy).
I love chicken wings. But not BDubs. I want real wing sauces. A good butter Buffalo sauce, a good BBQ. Not stupid spicy. And not cheaply flavored. This place is perfect. If you like wings, come out to Chick N Beer and absolutely demolish some perfect chicken wings.
This place is AMAZING. (And also super cute, the vibe is really chill.) I liked Chick-N-Beer the first time I visited, but then the SECOND time I went I absolutely fell in love. I haven't had this good of food in a long time. My boyfriend and I split the 18 ct wings with three flavors, and I also ordered the Nacho Average Chick (won ton nachos) and I'm telling you, my jaw literally DROPPED when the waiter brought them out.
The wings are delicious here. I prefer boneless wings and this place has some of the most generously sized and juicy boneless wings of any place in the city. Friends and family all like the bone in wings here and the variety of sauces is great.
My only gripe is the service. We've picked up orders from here and it seems like every time we've ordered, they start preparing the order after the estimated pickup time they set, apparently beginning to prepare it when we arrive. The most recent time this happened was on a Sunday, far from the busiest day or time. I'd love to recommend them more often, but I can really justify going unless I have twice as much time to account for the delayed preparation.
