Chuck House

Chicken fried Steak dinner was good. Too much gravy, for me, but good. Mashed potatoes were instant, but guess most places do that for cost purposes. Everything was hot. Will go back .

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! The best place in the Oklahoma City metro area to order (and devour) a chicken fried steak, smothered in gravy, along with your choice of side/potato (french fries, baked potato, or mashed potatoes and gravy.) The chicken fried steak is so tender, you can almost cut into it like butter (almost,) no cutting knife needed! My family and I have been eating here for years. The Chuck House located in Midwest City does not even compare with this location (also in which you can dine in at this location rather than eating your meal in the car or at home.) Just as their famous motto states "Best Chicken Fry in The Universe!" Rings true in my opinion, because I have yet to have better.

I haven't ate here in 20 years and decided to drive over for steak sandwiches the other day. To be honest I thought with the way things change that they would have shrunk the size of the sandwiches or changed something else but i was wrong. Still large and still taste great even after 20 years.

I got there at 5 minutes until closing and as always the staff were more than happy to take my order and offer to allow me to stay to dine inside while they did their closing duties. I got my order to go though and they never fail to serve me fantastic food every time I've been to eat. I love this place. It is on my top 3 list of favorite places to eat!!!

Had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, and fried okra. Chuck House is comparable to Ann's Chicken Fry. Chicken fried chicken was freshly made. The okra was hot and large pieces and perfectly cooked golden brown and tender. Portion sizes were generous. Great food!
