This was a perfect hot chicken experience. The seasoning was delectable and the tenders were hot without being overpowered. I loved the slider too, especially with the Kale slaw. The bread, the pickles, the sauce, the mac and cheese, it was all perfect. The line was out the door too, which means you know its good. 11/10
This is my first time visiting this restaurant and we will most definitely be back! It's centrally located in downtown Oklahoma City... you will have to find parking nearby but there's plenty of parking available for other surrounding restaurants and the Harkins movie theater. The restaurant is clean fresh concept you walk in stand in line get to the counter order your food and find a place to sit and there's plenty of tables bar stools and booths. We were there a party of 10 and the wait staff most graciously scooted tables together for us and was able to accommodate us just fine. The food was amazing the fries were seasoned and the chicken has several options either chicken strips or chicken sliders which the chicken sliders are actually as big as a chicken sandwich at most places. The prices were very acceptable. We had the two chicken slider meal with fries that was $11 which two people can easily split. The sauce flavors were amazing and the staff very friendly. Also outside seating available. I love the vibe!
Dave’s is going to be a hit for a long time. Right next to Fuzzy’s this spot in Bricktown will always be busy. The line was long, but it moved at a steady pace and they did a great job of helping with menus. They had two registers going and a third attendant with a iPad who took credit card only. This helped to make the line super fast. After you order you get a pager just like at Fuzzy’s. The menu is simple and reminds me of the Cain’s model. Everything chicken and a side. I went with the #4 which includes one slider, I got it hot, a side of French fries, I added cheese, some pickles and tangy dipping sauce. For me this was a perfect size meal for one. I also got a small chocolate shake to cool my mouth off. The hot level is really good. It hits slightly at first and then lingers a bit. I liked dipping the sandwich in the tangy sauce. Great combo. The chicken is perfect, crispy outside and tender juicy inside. The fries are crinkle cut with a crisp and the melted cheese is delicious. The pickles are crisp and flavorful. The combination of heat with the shake made for a solid meal. After you eat the heat will tingle for about 15 minutes. Dave’s is run smoothly with tons of employees. All of them there to help. They have multiple lobby attendants helping to clean up after you leave so that new people have a clean spot to sit. Highly recommend this for anyone. Even those who don’t like spicy food can get no spice chicken here.
At here for lunch today I had the two tenders with extra hot and wow do they pack a punch. Brother got two sliders mild they even had little bit of heat for him. Overall food was good atmosphere was a bit loud more so then I would like but it’s also opening weekend so lots of moving parts and people. I will def be going back and may even up the heat level to reaper
It was HOT and tasty! Dave's has the best chicken and their atmosphere is always on point. I love how each one is different and matches the location. Get extra Dave's sauce and a frozen drink to cool off.. especially if you go for The Reaper (waiver required). I do think they need more sound baffling and they will want to add a 2nd soda fountain.
