Denny's

Server was fantastic however he had to be called in. When we first arrived there was only 1 server on the floor. He was doing a fantastic job but people were being seated all across the restaurant and it was hard for him to keep up. Took 30 mins to to place an order and another 30mins to get food. But food was still hot and exactly as ordered. Gave 3 stars only because the management should have ensured enough staff.

My wife and me visited this place twice but only in the morning. The service both times was out of this world and food was out in less than 15 minutes of us arriving. On the flip side today June 22, 2019 at 10:03 P.M. We experienced the worst service and experience ever. The entire staff to include the night manager did not care to seat us and when they got around to seat us, we waited 10 minutes before anyone came and asked us what we wanted to drink. The person that came over was to wait on us was the cook. So whose cooking the food??? This day at Denny's was a Cinderella story turned nightmare. We left discussed because there we people that came in five minutes after us was served first. I'm not changing my ratings. I will never visit this place at night ever again. I hope the store or district manager reads this.

The waitress was awesome! Like she knew what we wanted before we even had to ask. I'm pretty sure her name was Marylee.The food was good like always but the wait staff usually leaves something to be desired. We usually come Saturdays & the gentleman who seats us is pretty rude every time but we're coming more often now if the waitresses are consistently as efficient as our waitress was ???? ???????? I was complimenting her to another really sweet, younger waitress and a customer who said he's a regular overheard & said he only comes in when Marylee and the other great waitress I was talking too are working. Dennys needs to hold on to these two for sure!!

My waitress was very awesome and they were very kind to me and considerate to the fact that I was in difficult situation and allowed me to enjoy my food without judgement by allowing my service dog inside to stay under my table while i ate. I wish i could remember her name. I hope to see her again soon.

I have always liked Denny's and have eaten at several around the state of Oklahoma. Only one was not very pleasing, service wise, but they all have excellent food. This Denny's on S. Meridian, just north of Interstate 40 is one of the best one's at which I and my wife have eaten. The place is clean, the service is quick and very polite, the servers were even respectfully friendly, and the food was served fairly quickly. Whenever we are in OKC for a convention we make it a point to eat here and have never regretted it.
