El Chico Cafe

What an AMAZING experience!! My much better half and I went to dinner here last night. We recently moved to OKC from Norman and have been craving El Chico for weeks. We finally were able to make some time to drive to Quail Springs and eat at our favorite Tex-Mex place. We were a little worried about the food not being the same as in Norman but it was perfect. Seemed a little slow for dinner time, but I guess that worked out in our favor. Our overall experience could not have been better, especially our server Ginger! She makes you feel at home. I haven't met someone so attentive and thoughtful. Completely worth the trip up there. If you do find yourself eating here, be sure to ask to sit in Ginger's section. You will not regret it!

El Chico has been in OKC since I was a child. In my opinion, they still offer one of the best Tex-Mex menus available. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy one of OKC's oldest and finest eateries!

Our waitress Bridget was phenomenal. We were sitting next to someone who was being a pain for her. But she was professional, polite, and courteous. Definitely going to be come back and requesting her. She did incredible. Keep up the good work if this gets brought up to you! ????

Had a great experience at lunch today. Lori waited on us (sorry if I spelled that wrong) and she was amazing! She did ask for my ID when I ordered a drink, and I was extremely excited about giving it to her. She made my day bc I’m not asked for my ID much these days. Thank you Lori for being so friendly and for making our experience at El Chico a memorable one!!! We will definitely go back!
