Burgers made the way you like them. Everything is fresh and made to order. Fries are cooked in peanut oil and unshelled peanuts are available in a big communal box. I feel In-N-Out makes better burgers and has better service but Five Guys beats them on the fries.
Pricing themselves out of business in my opinion. The food was great and the service was good. It's like the menu was priced by someone from NYC. There are more economical options in the OKC burger market that are the same or better taste wise. The cheapest burger on the menu was $6.85 for a plain burger with no cheese. That's burger only, no fries no drink.
The thing that screamed "we're desperate for every penny" is the only shake on the menu for ~$5.20, but if you want whipped cream it was an extra $.20. I literally laughed out loud when I saw that. I've never seen a restaurant charge extra for whipped cream on a shake, especially at that price point. Even a $2.50 shake at Sonic includes whipped cream and they nickel and dime you for every add-on there.
Of course, we love this chain! The location on Memorial is especially our favorite because they always seem to take care of us. They recognize patrons who frequently come in and it feels small-town in that sense. The fries are always perfect and the burgers rock!
Anytime we are craving burgers and are close to a Five Guys that's where we go. This one had been the best one so far off all we've been to. The fries and burgers were perfect. We've been to others and the fries were soft and soggy. The staff was awesome and friendly as well which made the experience that much better.
