Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

We had seen an add in the paper where they were running a special where kids eat for $2.99. We called on Sunday to confirm that the special was still good and what day it was good for. We were told it was good on Tuesdays. When we got there the girl up front said there was no such special. We asked to speak to a manager and she told us the special had been over for a week and she could not honor it. We were a birthday party of 8 adults and 9 kids. The manager realized my displeasure but said she could not help me. I felt like we had been a victim of the old bait and switch. After we started to sit down at our table the manager came back and apologized and gave me a gift certificate for 4 adults meals. She did not have to do this but it made the bad taste in my mouth go away.

It's a buffet, so I never expect much about the food. Surprisingly enough food selection and quality was good and the food was hot. Staff was friendly and on their toes keeping fresh food out. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was practically standing room only. I say good job to the workers at that location for keeping your heads and keeping us served in a madhouse

One of my kids favorites. Can't go wrong with All-you-can-eat cotton candy! Breakfast was delicious. I love that they have make to order fried eggs. Dinner is great too. Steaks were juicy and flavorful. Some stuff wasn't the best (pork chops are always dry) but it's a buffet so we just eat the stuff we like.

Very friendly staff...most food is fresh and good but got to watch what you get. Sometimes it is old and cold.

Update: as you can see the owner took the time to respond to my review...it's owners and management staff like that that make customers keep coming back! Most management or owners don't really care about these reviews! I really appreciate you taking the time to acknowledge the fact that we do appreciate you and all your staff! Thank you so much
