    Best food that I've ate in a long time! The rolls were phenomenal, pies were amazing, everything was superb. Very comfortable, relaxing, air conditioned atmosphere. It was even very busy and the wait staff did an excellent job at staying on top of things. We will be coming back for more!

    5 stars for service, quality, value and down home ambiance. Definitely not upscale
    But well worth the trip. Catfish and chickenfried steak are exceptional. Also homemade rolls and fried pies standout.

    Rolls are excellent. Chicken fried steak was okay.. had a lot of breading on it. Fries are homemade and good. The fried pie was good. Gave it to us for free for our first visit there.. so that always makes it better.. good place over all.. country restaurant in the middle of the city..

    Love this place! They have great fried catfish(I got the cajun version). Their fried Okra and fresh cut fries very good as well. They have homemade rolls with a sweet butter that are my favorite. I have had other things here and have not been disappointed.

    The food was phenomenal! You must try the chicken fried steak and chicken livers. Our server was Kat and she will surely brighten your day. We will definitely be back.
