We ordered fried chicken and fried pork spare ribs sided with some sticky rice. The sauce and dip were tasty and brought the food to another level of delicacy. The texture of sticky rice was perfect too. High recommend it especially roasted chili dip!
I'm obsessed with the crispy rice and chicken salad. The flavors are amazing and unique to our city, which is saying something since we have tons of great family places like this one. Everything is family style, so bring people with you to share or make sure you're hungry.
Literally my favorite place to eat in the city! They have features every day and they are always so delicious! Service is always so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and I love that they give me suggestions.
The food was very good! I really enjoyed the unique flavors in each dish. We tried several items from the menu and will become one of our regular spots. Chef Jeff stopped by the table and enhanced our experience.
Highly recommend this restaurant.
I was very excited to try this place after many great reviews.
When it comes to dining I value both atmosphere and food. Atmosphere was not inviting. The whole place had a very odd smell. It took time to adjust to it, that was not appetizing at all. We decided to stick out for the food anyways given the raving reviews. Loud 90s music and you can’t hear each other at the table is not relaxing to me on a Tuesday night. Yet.. let’s wait for the food.
Food arrived quickly. We tried papaya salad house spice level. - I love spicy, but it was just stupid. Yes, I can eat the spice but it looses the taste. Might as well eat the hot pepper alone and don’t bother for the rest. Next came well advertised sticky rice and fried rice salad as well as pickled cabbage, grilled feed and sausage All are worth trying, but I won’t remember anything but grilled beef. Which was excellent. We tried special of the day- soup, it was good but I can find it in other places. Overall it was fine but I’m not in a rush to come back.
