Museum Cafe

The lovely hostess was able to book us a table for four so we could eat while waiting for our show reservations at the Civic Center. We started with delicious Goat cheese kisses, and then two of us had Tuscan Tomato Soup with definite garlic flavor in bottom. I also had the Hummus Salad Platter which complemented the soup nicely and made for a complete meal. My daughter had the House Salad and added grilled chicken.

Excellent food and cocktails with personable staff. Visit the amazing exhibits and then have a nice delicious meal. You will be happy to be there and want to go back. Not inexpensive but overall worthwhile. I recommend highly. Very nice decor and pleasant surroundings.

My mother and I went today for the Impressionist Exhibit and had lunch there.

Our waiter was very attentive.

We ordered the baked brie as an appetizer
I ordered the Chili lacquered salmon
My mother ordered the prime rib sandwich

The Brie was delicious
The Salmon was yummy and so were the brussel sprouts with cashews that were served on the side.
I took a bite of the sandwich, and it was superb.

The only real downfall was the Brie didn't arrive to the table until our entrees did, but without even asking they took it off the ticket.

After that we went and wandered around the museum.

We went back to the Restaurant to have desert both of which were quite tasty.
