Remarkable food and drink menu! Service was suffering bad! Half the staff (bartenders and waiters/waitresses) needed on a Saturday night. The build out is wonderful and very comfortable. But, overall experience was a 3/5 because the service was so lacking. Hope it gets better.
I recently tried red rooster for the first time and enjoyed it!
I decided to have a few friends join me for my birthday dinner last month, unfortunately you can’t hear anything, we say in a large booth but could not hear each other from across the table because it was so echoey and loud, there was nothing to absorb the sound.
The vegan pasta was absolutely amazing!
The drinks were awesome and everyone in my party enjoyed their food.
The service was alright, We were a little disappointed, had it been better we would have had more than one drink while waiting to be sat and one with dinner.
The atmosphere was great, and I would like to return but would prefer to sit at the bar or patio!
I really enjoyed the experience at this place. I had the scallion tacos. The tortilla was like a savory pancake. I could eat a stack of them like a plate of flapjacks! The menu is slim but interesting. The bar is very nice, several martinis and good bourbons.
This iconic paseo spot has revamped their look and menu, glad to see it is back! The menu I heard is great and they now have their liquor license. I do wish that the new version felt more special. It now has the same look and trendy vibe as most bars and restaurants that have opened in the past 5 years. If I'm going somewhere I would rather it feel nostalgic but places have diff phases as they grow up..just like we do. So yes I would go back if friends were going and sit on their little patio.
This is my new favorite neighborhood lunch/dinner spot! The food and drinks are on point. The Monday burger special pays homage to the original Rooster (RIP) while highlighting the new chef driven menu. Amazing cocktails, food, and service. Very refreshing for a newly opened establishment.
