Ted's Cafe Escondido

My husband and I rarely get to go out by ourselves to have a nice dinner and so we were so excited to get this opportunity that we didn't realize that they were about to close. Yet our entire meal was pleasant, unrushed, and delicious. I've been to many restaurants in my life but I can honestly say that the waiter that we had tonight was by far the best waiter I have ever seen. The entire staff was extremely Pleasant even after we left 30 minutes after closing. Thank you for making this night a spectacular date night with my husband.

This is a good place to eat for Mexican. Great atmosphere also. A little pricey but for the great food that you get it's well worth it. Service is great also

Our family is gluten free and more importantly I am celiac. The manager (Sean) and waiter (Josh) did a great job of knowing what was available to eat. The food was fantastic. The servers all had a smile and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. The chips, cheese sauce and salsa were fantastic. Kid friendly. Everything was fresh and our order was delivered quickly, even during a busy time. We will be back. Thank you.

Chips and homemade salsa and their homemade tortillas are the best. Their Gluten Free chips are what we request EVERY TIME ( and we're not Gluten intolerant). A little pricey though

Enjoyable dinner & had very good service. Food was perfect, impressed the waitress served out taco as an appetizer. So we were able to eat it before it got soggy while we were enjoying the rest of the other items we ordered. Even went beyond and got to sit chips and salsa to go after we already had our items sacked up. Definitely good portions and the taco was huge.
