The Loaded Bowl

When we stopped through Oklahoma City on our cross country drive, we did not think this was where we would find the best vegan restaurant we have been to so far. But I am pretty sure The Loaded Bowl is just that. We had the Orange Chicken and Layered Enchilada Bowls and everything down to the chips was amazing. Service and atmosphere were great too. We joked that maybe we should live here so we can keep eating at The Loaded Bowl.

We are not vegan, our friend Shelly from Australia is. So this meat/dairy eating family said why not. I have to tell you, it was fantastic. Way better than we expected and we were pleasant surprised. The L.B. chicken was great, if i didn't know it wasn't real chicken, I would have never guest.

More like the LOVED-IT BOWL! Amazing array of creative dishes comprised of vegan ingredients. Alcoholic drinks served here as well. The second Tuesday of the month, one can also find an open mic, as we stumbled upon. The server also made a special Tequila drink the night we stopped in, and she kindly gave us tips on cool local hangs.

BEST restaurant in OKC, vegan or not! I got the orange chicken and my husband got the enchiladas. We fell in love with every bite! They can make almost any drink you want at the bar - highly recommend the hibiscus rum cocktail and the mule! It was truly amazing food and I can't wait to come back for their brunch menu.

The Loaded Bowel is a 100% vegan restaurant. Restaurants like this are very uncommon. For the most part, the food was very creative and delicious; however, the salt content needs to be toned down on certain dishes like the nachos and sesame chicken. In addition, the staff need to clean the eating tables better. 8/10, wonderful unique place to eat.
