Howler's Famous BBQ

I stopped by today and had the chicken fried steak and i was surprised at the size and quality, this was one of the best chicken fried steaks i have had in a long time and the best part was it was not all seasoned up ( most places put so much seasoning in the batter/ flour that it takes away from the dish) it was like i do it at home, and the size was a good size portion i was so impressed i took pictures ( i will try to post them ) it comes with two sides i had a salad and baked beans the salad bar was quite small and the side of baked beans was also small but the chicken fried steak was by far the star, i know that your probably thinking chicken fried steak at a barbecue place but yes! I will say if i am ever in the mood for chicken fried steak i will definitely make the 36 mile drive.

Excellent barbque and shrimp! The fried okra is great and you have to try the spicy mac and cheese! Great service!

Food was the most EXCELLENT!!! Chicken Fried Steak was superb!! Fried Pickles w/Ranch and Chips w/blue cheese dipping sauce was better than I had expected. If I could rate them 10????'s, I would. The staff was wonderful and the service time was great!!! I will be making future visit yo Howler's. One of the best food services around. Once again, excellent food and service!!
