Palomino's Mexican Restaurant

I really like the food here but unfortunately the prices increase every time I go in. I don't know if it's because of supply issues because of covid or what. I used to be a regular customer, I would come in twice a week and get two chicken skillets for me and my gf. The last time I came in it the bill was almost $30 for what used to be one of the cheapest options on the menu. I'd say it has gone up $10 over the past year. That was the last time I visited and I never order here anymore, which is a shame because I really did like the food. But I can't justify paying that much for what is essentially a bowl of rice with a few strips of chicken and some veggies thrown in when we can make it at home for less than half the price.

My wife and I had a nice experience at Palomino's today. It had been over a year since we last ate there. Today she had the taco salad and I had the Mexican flag dinner with rice and beans. We were seated quickly by a very nice lady. Soon chips and salsa was brought to the table with a large order of guacamole. The salsa had a little heat but was really tasty. The guacamole was a nice portion and also tasty. Our meals arrived quickly and were good and hot. The meal was of good quantity and quality with the exception of the ground beef both in my beef enchilada and the beef on the taco salad which was excessively seasoned and very salty. Besides that the rest of the meal was very good. As for the service our waitress did a great job taking care of us. Overall a nice experience.

It's good for occasional Mexican food experience. I found my servers to be fun and pro active every time. The seafood serving sizes can be a bummer sometimes. They keep decent beer, and serving sizes are great on regular items. Food tastes are as expected of an Authentic Mexican restaurant.
