For me, it's not the food as much as the experience. It's a great over all experience. The food, authentic as it is, is just in my humble opinion good. It isn't great. I keep coming back because of the private rooms and the whole dinning presentation. You should try it at least once. It isn't super cheap though. I like it...
The steak was seasoned well and one of the best I've ordered in a while!
Bring your appetite! They offer a "mandatory" bottomless pasta special that comes with every meal, regardless of what you order.
Reason for 4 star rating:
Canned mushrooms ?- they're preserved in salted water, which can really bring the flavor of your steak down. Especially when you dump a spoonful on top, instead of off to the side. Suggestion: offering fresh onions and mushrooms for $2 more isn't a bad thing and takes a little extra effort.
Spaghetti sauce was bland. It's amazing how adding some fresh herb and salt can really spruce up a sauce and bring flavor forward. Your sauce was lacking both. It's a minor adjustment that should be considered.
Great food, great beer, private rooms and a lot of history in the "Little Italy" town of Krebs, Oklahoma. The lamb fries are definitely on point!
I went here about two months ago during fall break. I loved the food and couldn’t get enough bread. I enjoyed having our own room to eat in. I learned about this place last year in a history class and I’d recommend that everyone research it, it’s very interesting. I’m hoping to go back soon and try something different!
