    Excellent Tamales. Way to cold had to go get blanket from car in order to eat.

    This is a small restaurant with big flavor. It has a large Tex-Mex menu and generous servings. I believe there were daily specials and of course loads of chips and salsa. There was a big screen TV, but I was too busy eating to know what channel was playing.
    I do know the El Toro Mexican Restaurant is on Cherokee. An easy exit off and on for I40 most of the time. There is some road construction in the area right now, but not enough too hinder or prevent a stop in if you're hungry.

    Love this restaurant!! We eat there every time we are in the area. the customer service is excellent the food is amazing and they do have daily deals, which included the weekend to my surprise. We will definitely return any time that we are in the area! This location is fairly easy to find and right off of I-40.
