Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

My business partner decided to try out Hangry Joes for lunch today even though there were so many poor reviews. He tried the chicken sando and I got an order of 12 wings. First off, the wings were HUGE and very fresh, they were breaded (which I don’t love) and seasoned very well! I got the hot dry rub which was perfectly spicy. They were almost too hot (oven hot) to eat. I was only able to eat 6 of the wings cause they were so big! My partner said his sandwich tasted very fresh, juicy and perfectly spicy as well. His came with waffle fries which were fresh and tasty! Food came out very quickly although it was not very busy.

Ordering at a kiosk was nice but did take away some of the face-to-face interaction with the staff. Food was fresh and pretty good, overall nice atmosphere! Will be back to order at the counter and try other items.

Been wanting to try this place since I saw the sign put up. I have to admit I liked the food quite a bit.
The menu selection is fairly diverse and the options are good.

I got the junior chicken sandwich as I wasn’t too hungry and it satisfied me plenty.
The spice levels are a little underwhelming. The option for “hot” had a warning and everything on the ordering kiosk, and it tickled my mouth a bit but nothing too extreme. As such I would recommend for anyone who likes spicy food to order hot or the hottest option they have. The fries are decent and the sauce is pretty good.

The staff were kind and even went as far as to check up on us after we got our food. I enjoy the cute cartoon chicken characters posted up on the walls as well. Although I think there could be more graphics put up as it is a little bare on the inside as far as atmosphere goes.

Overall a pretty good chicken sandwich and a welcome addition to downtown Bixby. I will be coming again.
