Rex's Chicken

Employees are very pleasant. The restaurant was clean and very cute and modern. The food was delicious and seemed to be cooked after ordering. I highly recommend a peanut butter cookie too. The price wasnt bad for the amount of food you get. If you arent sure if you should get original or jalapeno chicken def go for the jalapeno! You wont be sorry!

Food was hot. It's not really fast food it’s more quick serve. Order was accurate and delicious. We need one in Mid town. Good service

I visited at 2:15pm on Sunday. I drove quite a distance to visit based on my memories of great food and service years ago. The place wasn’t even busy yet it took a full 10 minutes for an employee to even come to the counter to acknowledge me and other customers waiting to order. When I ordered, the employee asked if I’d like a soft drink with my order. I declined and asked for a water cup. He charged me for a fountain drink anyway and I just brushed it off as an honest mistake. Then I went to get a drink and the fountain was out of CO2 (curious why they’re trying to sell fountain drinks if it’s not working). Turns out teas were “out of order” too. I had trouble finding a clean table to sit at and tried the clean one in the picture before realizing they taped a sign - “Do not sit here.” Received my food quickly enough. The okra was hot, but the chicken wasn’t even slightly warm. I politely complained about the cold chicken and they brought me some freshly made that was hot. The food was satisfactory in the end, but they really need to get a manager that can hire, train, and incentivize the right employees who can keep them in business.

First I've been there since the come back. Chicken was good. Fry bread was great. Mac n cheese ok. It would be nice to have your drink come with the meal but not a big deal. All in all, just another chicken place. I wouldn't drive out of my way to go back but might stop if passing.
