Chicken Salad Chick

Have ate there several times before and it has always been good a friend came to visit yesterday and I took her there to eat. The chicken salad had no taste at all very bland. The pimento cheese was so spicy my tongue was burning took it back and they said it wasn't the spicy one we told them we ask for the traditional one she insisted it was they took it back and brought another one ? It wasn't any better she came and ask if it was any better we said no it taste the same she just said I'm sorry and left didn't offer something else, a refund or a coupon. Don't think I'll be going back there. So embrassed to have taken a friend there for lunch.

It wasn't bad, pretty in decor. I ordered the Fancy Nancy because of the fruit and pecan addition. I had 2 grapes and a tiny taste of apple. Fine on the pecans and I was expecting a more chunky style of chicken. Just wasn't a lot of flavor to it. Add in the paper thin tomato slice and single piece of limp lettuce made for some disappointment. I also had the loaded potato soup. It really was good. I gave an extra star for the soup. Maybe next time I will just have that. I had heard really good things about the chicken salad so it makes me sad it wasn't better. Guess I will just stick with my mom's recipe.

The chicken salad was okay but no texture. Everything was so finely chopped I couldn't taste individual flavors. Just not my preference. Nice and clean. Well presented. Excellent staff.

Great chick salad selection. Tomato bisque soup..excellent. Friendly service. Nice seating arrangements. Reasonably priced.
