This has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat. The food is authentic, absolutely delicious, and the portions are very large. The owners are very helpful with translation and explaining how ordering works, as it is a little different than typical restaurants.

Just FYI, if you don’t know what the food is and don’t speak Spanish, just go by what looks good and you will be happy. Very authentic and delicious food.
The owner met us and explained to us the menu, then had a very helpful lady behind the counter explain the food options that were hot and fresh ready to go.
My wife and I ate here and I loved it. Don’t know what any of it was called other than pork with green sauce, short ribs, carne asada, rice and beans and delicious fresh made corn tortillas.
Prices were good in my opinion. $30 for the two of us.
I would have liked to have had fountain drinks or iced tea but not not a big deal by no means.
Cool place with great food and service.
Go try it. You might like it. I did for sure.

Good food, tons of choices, the birria was great, the zucchini dish was too…but spicy. The beans were tasty too. The green sauce dish tasted great but I couldn’t eat it due to the spice level, if you can handle it then go for it.

This is a very needed change in the restaurant scene in Broken Arrow. True authentic flavor, clean, and great service! Out of the hand full of times I've ate here I have yet to get anything that wasn't a delightful meal. Prices match the quantity and far exceed in quality. Have taken multiple people from work and family that have come into town. HIGHLY recommend to go eat here. Get a normal plate with 2 meats and 2 sides and leave full and happy! Bonus if you indulge in your sweet tooth and try the tres leches cake!!

Eat here …learn Spanish. This was a cultural immersion.

There are many of these cafeteria style Mexican cafés in the heart of Tulsa’s Little Mexico area. I have avoided them. My problem is that I look at the heated buffet displays, with trays of very similar looking bubbling caldrons of marinating Mexican meats and vegetables and I have no idea what they are. Without pictures and English descriptions, it is just confusion,

The new El Gallo Loco #2 in Broken Arrow is such a restaurant. Fortunately, upon entering, the friendly Roberto greeted my wife and I, and guided us through the food ordering process. He pointed and explained the many offerings behind the buffet’s protective glass. I only remember one the Carne Asada, because he offered a free sampling. He also emphasized the very large corn tortillas that are made fresh in the restaurant. Steak and a tortilla. I believe that could be called a taco. That’s what we had; rice and beans on the side.

The tortilla was indeed the size of the plate, folded in half and filled with savory, charcoal grilled, chopped steak. Using what little room was left in the folded tortilla, I filled with tomatoes, onions, cilantro and lettuce from the help yourself condiment bar. Salsa completed the taco construction. Some green and a good helping of the orange/red liquid hell. The taco had now swelled to a sized that was unmanageable as hand held food. That is what forks are for. Not much for the kitchen staff to clean up. The plates were clean when we left.

The chargrilled chopped steak was delicious. The experience was interesting. I’m looking forward to sampling the other authentic Mexican food options, bubbling behind the protective plexiglass.

As we were leaving, Miguel, the owner checked on us. He was interested in our feedback on the visit and encouraged us to come back and try more.

El Gallo Loco #2, a great, new dining experience in Broken Arrow.
