Hideaway Pizza

The flavor was pretty decent but nothing that wowed me like Pizza Ranch in Springfield IL. Our waitress had to be asked several times to bring both 1 cup of ranch and refill drinks (mind you it was only to refill once when we were bone dry). Seems like our waitress was more into flirting with some boys at a different table then to tend to her customer needs at any other table she had. We did tip her but not more then 15% because she didn't earn it.

Hideaway has always been a favorite but it's especially delicious when you haven't had 'real' pizza in awhile! I forgot how good it was. Pizza and service were both excellent. They also have the BEST ranch dressing.

Always good service at this location. I had the club salad but was allowed to substitute pepperoni for the turkey. Very good salad. Pizza is delicious and the crust is very flavorful. Their chicken wings are great too. My family raves over the garlic knots. And the ice, well it’s great ice! I like their pizza and pasta. The lasagna is one of my favorite. The decor and atmosphere are that of a higher end sports bar. The pricing is a little high but ok for special occasions.

I enjoyed my evening at Hideaway, the location here was clean and the food was good. There were a couple of missteps, as far as the service went, but nothing that ruined the evening or caused any major problems. If I were the management for this location I would absolutely consider more carefully who I chose as the hostess for the evening... Someone who clearly doesn't like their job or their customers definitely doesn't do the location any favors when it comes to the dining experience. The food, on the other hand, was phenomenal and the rest of the waitstaff was very pleasant.

I love their pesto! Every time I go that is what I want but I have tried other food their. I recommend their mozzarella sticks and their fried pickles. The little pizzas are perfect for children! I love how they provide plastic cups that you can take home. I have several. Definitely a good place to eat!
