Never been here before but love old mom & pop burger places across the Midwest... The burger patties are good sized, similar to Whataburger, but I wasn't impressed with the taste or quality, not bad, but nothing special. Looks like a generic frozen pattie when you bite into it and look at the structure of the meat. $11.xx for a double + fries + small shake. I'll come back and try something else next time, I try to support small business, but the burger is a no-go for me.
Went in with my daughter while waiting in line at the DMV. Ordered grilled chicken sandwich for her. I do gluten free diet, so the waiter fixed no bread grilled chicken sandwich for me. The sandwiches tasted delicious!!!!! It reminded me of a homemade meal. I was very pleasantly surprised, though I am always picky about the places I eat.
If you want a true going back to your childhood experience, try this mom-and-pop gem in Broken Arrow. The burgers are incredible, but I was amazed watching the omelets get delivered as well as the other home-made entrees - the peach cobbler with ice cream could feed a family. This is nothing fancy, but the food is great and the service top-notch - like I said, going back in time.
The epitome of the greasy spoon. Probably the best breakfast I've had in town. The biscuits alone are nearly a meal. Definitely not a place you want to frequent unless you want to routinely buy bigger pants. If that doesn't bother you, I say go for it. If you like to wax nostalgic, this is the place for you. You can revisit your childhood with the aroma of grilled fried hamburgers and fries. Their soft-serve ice cream is lactose free and tastes great. I usually get 3 large styrofoam containers to take home and eat at my leisure over several days - baseball and ice cream goes well together
This is where the locals and the old timers go for burgers and breakfast. It is a nice little burger joint diner, conveniently located on south main. They have a big breakfast and lunch menu. We had a couple of burgers and fries. The burgers were very good, the fries were average and the folks running the place were very nice. I had the double meat large burger. A very good two patty burger, that tasted great and was well worth the price. Next time I’d like to try the curly fries or the onion rings. It is a small, old time burger joint that stays packed because of the service and the quality of the food. It is a clean little diner that will remind you of how good burgers were before the big national chain burger joints came along. So, come early for lunch or breakfast to beat the crowd …south of the tracks on Main St.
