I love this place! The pizza is DELICIOUS and the staff is awesome as well! I did think the pizza was a bit pricey but once I ate some pizza I forgot about it. If you are looking to buy some New York Style pizza then this is the place to go.
I stop in once a month usually and the staff is always welcoming and food is always as good as expected (I always buy slices). I managed NY style pizzerias for years and Uncle Vinny's is without a doubt the best NY pizza in the region. BIG portions & good flavor all around.
After waiting far too long to experience this little gem in Broken Arrow, I finally stopped by for a late lunch this week. Feeling a bit unsure due to my status as a single diner, I was immediately put at ease by the friendly staff and customers. Recommendations were shouted out, but I’d come prepared after perusing the online menu. I wanted to try Uncle Vinny’s Eggplant Parmesan sandwich, and am I glad I did!
At Uncle Vinny’s, the ripe eggplant is peeled and sliced into thick rounds to order. It is enrobed in crisp breadcrumbs made remarkable by the addition of a touch of cayenne. The eggplant is then pan fried to crispy perfection, and placed on a soft, bakery-fresh hoagie roll along with Uncle Vinny’s homemade marinara sauce and melty grated whole milk mozzarella.
I found my sandwich to be nothing short of heavenly. The slight zing of the dried pepper delighted my tongue, adding an exciting twist to the eggplant, a vegetable of slight flavor. The crisp eggplant slices were not at all greasy and went very well with the chunky, tasty marinara. It was a large and satisfying sandwich that I look forward to enjoying again in the near future.
I highly recommend dining at Uncle Vinny’s. Their pizza looked (and smelled) divine. In addition, their menu boasts pasta dishes including homemade lasagna and ravioli.
This place is top notch 100% of the time. Sean and the staff are friends to our family and our kids love it also. They have an text group discount you can sign up for. Today I had the PepperFreakinoni. Some of the best spicy pepperoni you will ever eat!!
