Same quality of food that they've had since I was a kid. Would be better if the cook wore a mask. They painted over the old wall menu and have actual menus now, just in time for the pandemic. Go on in and get you some "freedom fries".
Update: I'm impressed by the personal reply and am changing my rating to reflect this. Thanks for the response and stay safe.
Just found this place this year and really love the atmosphere and the staff! Very friendly and the menu is nice and small. The root beer is great, not like the soda you get from anywhere else, very nice flavor in my opinion. Loved it here.
I don't eat cheeseburgers very often but when I do I choose Brownie's and you should too. It's an old fashioned hamburger stand that been a Tulsa staple since the 50's. Even though there has been some changes in the last few years, they have stayed true to whats made them popular. Great service too!
The burger was outstanding - very juicy and flavorful, and I love that I got a side of fried pickles as a side. They also had some fun specialty burgers that I'd like to try on a future visit - more than just the basic burger/cheeseburger/chili cheeseburger that everyone offers. As soon as I walked in the door, they had a mug of home-brewed root beer in front of me, even though I was ordering takeout - they gave me another one to go! I wasn't that impressed with the pie - their only choices were all pudding-type pies in butterscotch, chocolate, coconut, etc and I wish they had some fruit pies like cherry or apple - maybe that do some days, I don't know. I'll have to go back and get another tasty burger and find out!
