We tried it on opening day... weren't fans. We have it a try a few months later and now it's one of our weekly restaurants we go to. Their Honey Chicken is amazing, I order the sliced beef dry pot and my wife and I share the chicken and Corn soup. Their portions are great as well. If you aren't a fan of corn and chicken egg drop soup but want a soup..try their tomato sliced beef hot pot...........Fantastic and so reasonably priced.
Since moving here to Tulsa, we have not found an authentic Chinese restaurant that serve our favorite dishes from when we lived in Los Angeles. We have been going to Oklahoma City and Dallas for Chinese food but now, we're so happy we found a local spot near home.
They serve our favorite salt and pepper shrimp and Sechuan flavored dishes. Their steam dumplings were so flavorful!
Customer service was top notch. We were very impressed and satisfied with our experience and food. We're coming back with family and friends next time!
The establishment was good, well spaced, clean, and packed with customers. The waitstaff were kind and were patient with our questions. All that said, we're going to have to try other dishes. We did get the dumplings with spicy chili oil as our appetizer, and while they were good, I believe it missed just a little depth in flavor. I chose the House Special Pad Thai, which was a nice dish...safe I would say, for the patronage that doesn't stray too much. The hubs chose the Braised Pork... and this is where we felt it went south for us. We just didn't like the food. There were spices used that were prominent in the dish that we did not care for. The menu doesn't exactly detail out what the dish is made of, so you do make some assumptions.
I will say the dishes were cooked appropriately temp and consistency wise. We will put this on the back burner but will try again sometime as I believe it is a good place to try.
Absolutely fantastic! The service was excellent, the menu so beautifully designed and easy to read, and the food was to die for. Went out with friends for dinner and everyone left full and incredibly happy with their meals. Adventurous eaters will especially love the variety of dishes on the menu that they won’t be able to find anywhere else. The chicken feet were *chef’s kiss* and the Szechuan boiled beef was heaven in a bowl. Truly. I cannot recommend this place more.
Had to see what the hype was about at Chengdu. It was absolutely delicious!!! If you haven't tried it yet, you need to! The menu provides options of appetizers, soups, rice and noodle dishes, chicken, beef, pork, lamb, frog, duck, seafood, tofu, and vegetables. There is something for everyone.
We will definitely be visiting regularly. Delicious, flavorful food, generous portions, extensive menu, pleasant servers, and very clean restaurant.
We ordered the dumplings in spicy chili oil, wonton soup, Szechuan Boiled Beef, and the Spicy Fish Boil. The food arrived quickly and everything was so delicious. We had fasted all morning and went around 4 p.m. so we were quite hungry and still had enough leftovers for 2 meals.
We can't wait to go back and try more! Definitely trying the roasted duck with dry fried string beans next time.
