Complementary bread had 4 options. One was a little salty - one a sourdough - didn't try the gluten free crisp.

Menu had lots of fancy verbage. I settled on the two open faced sandwiches for $11 (only a lunch option) the smoked salmon was so so yummy and the tenderloin was also great! I also ordered a side of potatoes and they had a lovely seasoning!

*Want to go back and try the chicken on butternut squash puree?!

No wait on a Saturday at 11:30am

Freya has a welcoming ambiance, excellent presentation, and some of the best dishes we’ve had in Tulsa. The Elk Chop and Swedish Meatballs were fantastic, and the particular Smørrebrød offered when we were there was awesome as well.

Our server, Brady, was so friendly and knowledgeable. Top notch service. We will definitely be back soon!

Second time dining here, came for first lunch. We tried the cod cakes, a beef tenderloin sandwich with potatoes, and a salmon sandwich with apple and carrot slaw. Just like the first time, everything was amazing! Food looks and tastes fantastic. Can’t wait to come a third time to try brunch.

Food tried: shrimp toast, elk chop, blueberry tart. Everything was amazing! The drinks and food tasted incredibly fresh. The elk was silky smooth and presented beautifully. We will be back when they open for lunches!

A new level of fare and a fresh nuance for Tulsa, Freya is a perfect addition to Brookside. Service, atmosphere, food quality, and presentation were all pristine and accurate to Scandinavian standards and attention to detail. Truly a new experience for our local food scene and an exciting time to see if we are ready for a menu of this level of sophistication. Freya delivers on its intentions.
