The service and hospitality was great. The food, though good, wasn't spectacular for the price. For instance, we ordered the Charleston Shrimp Pasta and Turkey Plate and the bill was 40+. To put this in perspective, you can get a similar dish at Zio's that's more delicious and cheaper. The Turkey Plate was filling and tender; however, it lacked a homemade-feel-good feeling. I think it deserved a portion of dressing for example. There are a good number of choices and it doesn't take forever to get your meal. It's worth a visit if you want choices and different, but you'll pay for the difference.
Such a good addition to the Tulsa Hills shopping area!
Their burgers are really good, there are plenty of options for all sorts of diets. Calories are listed clearly on the menu. The atmosphere is hip and fun and prices are great for a lot of food.
Our server, Ty, was incredible. Full of information about the Diner, specials, and you can tell she works so hard to bring everyone a good experience. We loved her!
Thanks Metro Diner! We'll be back!
Wow! I'm thoroughly impressed with this place. The food was cooked to perfection, the staff was friendly, and worked well as a team to ensure everyone got fed in a timely manner. (It was packed) I'd recommend this place 100 times over. Will definitely be returning!
A most wonderous place. Grits with salt! Spread the word throughout the land. If you're reading and don't know what I'm talking about then this review isn't for you. Just go there and get something else. It's all good. I watched the cooks. I could tell they prepared each item as if they were going to eat it. A place of true love for food.
The food was very delicious and fresh! Large portions. With that being said bring your pocket book. This is not a cheap place for large families. The portions however are large enough to either share or take half with you! You really do get what you pay for. Cute decor what was missing was the soda shop bar section that would have set it apart. It has the checkered board flooring and subway tile in the bathroom. Very neat place with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was fresh with real time cooking. None of that frozen delight you get at other joints. This is the real-deal. Believe me.
