friendly staff and good food. Came here for breakfast with a friend and seen then freshly cutting lemons and limes and prepping ingredients for dishes throughout the day. I appreciate the freshness and highly recommend.

It's a very popular restaurant and lots of people at lunch. We had shrimps and grilled catfish for lunch. The shrimps were definitely from frozen stock. The grilled catfish was very greasy. The steam veggies were from chopped frozen veggies. They should at least use freshly cut veggies.

Not only was the food delicious (baked potato/soup combo—their soup of the day, tortilla soup, was great), but I forgot my phone there—10 minutes after we left, I realized my phone wasn’t in my purse. My mom called the restaurant, and before my mom, a regular at their restaurant, could finish her sentence, saying that I had left my phone, the waitress told her that my phone was there, safe and sound. I walked in to grab it, and they had it on a charger because they had noticed my battery was low! The waitstaff are very kind, the kitchen is efficient and their food—impeccable!

Best little diner in town. Everything they fry is battered in house. The chicken fried steak is the best I've had. I love their Philly sandwich and their Reuben too. It's REALLY hard to find a good Reuben but they don't mess around. My husband goes for the healthier stuff. He usually gets the southern chicken breast dinner, grilled catfish, or some spinach egg white omelet thing he gets with fruit and cottage cheese. They have a little bit of everything. Don't waste your money elsewhere!
