Went last night with family. Very nice atmosphere. The server was attentive, bringing crispy chips/salsa as soon as we sat. Our drink order arrived quickly (frozen margarita). We started with Queso Blanco and Guacamole. Both are addictive. For entrees we had the Birria Beef tacos, Tenderloin Chimichurri and the chicken Pipian with the most amazing molé I’ve ever tasted. We finished off our meal with coffee and crispy Churros drizzled with caramel.
The owner came over to say hello and to make sure that our experience met expectations, which it did. We will return to try some more dishes from their tempting menu.
We just had the best dining EXPERIENCE of the past 5 years. Maybe my whole life. Everything was perfect. The patio ambiance was so lovely. We went on Saturday and were treated to Denise Hoey and David John's lovely music. The service was fantastic. BUT THE FOOD. The food was SO incredibly good. The chips are actual fresh fried tortillas, the guac and queso was delicious. Holy MOLY the moles were to die for. I got the "tres Moles" tapas plate for dinner + the chimichurri beef tenderloin. Chicken is not usually something to get excited about, but it was so juicy and tender. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection!! My husband's margarita looked amazing. And then, the churros and flan for dessert were better than I've ever had in my life. I'm not joking. It was so freaking good!!!! I can't wait to go back. The Ridge Cantina is the perfect blend of casual, romantic atmosphere with high quality food. My new favorite place!!!
We dined here this evening for the first time. We had 10 people and each one of us loved the appetizers, drinks, entrees, and dessert. It was a beautiful night out on the patio with wonderful live music by Denise Hoey. We had great service. We all look forward to coming back soon!
Expensive, but delicious. It's not your standard Tex-Mex menu. Chips (puffy, crisp) and salsa (flavorful) were provided in modest quantities. We had the made-to-order guacamole. My wife had the "flautitas" (taquitos) appetizer as her main dish - scrumptious. I had one of their several chicken mole entrees, and it was also very good. Entrees are $22-42, and tacos are $16-28 for 3; including sides. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was relaxing.
