Went for a business lunch. Had the steak salad and it was very good. Restaurant is a bit pricey but the service was good and the atmosphere was great. Next time I'll go when I can stay and enjoy a cigar in their cigar room located behind a glass wall in the dining room. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars if it were a little more affordable. The food definitely receives 5 star though.
Fantastic waiter & Great Flavors. The Grilled Gnocchi was unbelievable. The Sausage & Pimento Cheese board was excellent, and the Lamb was very tasty. Our waiter knew the menu thoroughly, offered well educated suggestions and was among the top 10 best waiters I've ever had.
Great meal tonight at Smoke. We started off with crab cakes with fried green tomatoes..Delicious! Only complaint was not enough jam. Next we had grilled romaine with anchovies...once again delicious. Last we had Lamb porterhouse medium rare awesome! We went to Smoke. Woodfire Grill this summer in June. I meant to write a review but in our travels home to Maui, I forgot to do that.
We came here for our 1 year anniversary dinner after seeing Hamilton at the PAC. We traveled since we live in Missouri. Scott our waiter was absolutely wonderful! He basically answered our questions before we knew we had them (which was great!). He was very well informed on the menu and pricing. The oysters were amazing! We both had the sirloin, medium rare, and it was mouth watering. 100% will return.
4 ladies...indecisive so we ordered 4 entrees to split. Instead of bringing them on one plate the cook and waitress separated everything leaving each of us with 3 plates. I can tell you now that's more food than we paid for! We had the brisket mac and cheese, smoked salmon sandwich, chicken club and pulled pork tacos. The mac and cheese was super creamy. The salmon sandwich had capers ???? omg AMAZING! the chicken club was chicken, avocado and spectacular! The pulled pork tacos had this amazing corn slaw that was absolutely graced by God himself!! Definitely a must! We were a tad disappointed that the bone in bacon wasn't quite read but we will definitely be making the 4 hour drive to visit and sink our teeth into that!
