Spacious ramen place with four delicious varieties of broth: pork, spicy pork/miso, chicken, and vegetarian.
They also have a selection of side dishes, but the menu is focused. Ramen can be customized with or without certain ingredients.
Staff is very friendly and will work to resolve any issues, of which we had none.
An order for two took about 10 minutes, and to-go containers were sturdy and did not leak heat.
TL;DR food was great, came reasonably quickly, and the staff is superb.
The decor and music was very modern. Staff was very welcoming and happy to get feed back of the food. It's one of the best ramen shops in the area. The noodles were cooked perfectly and had a great bounce and feel to them.
Open about a week. Friendly staff, not an extensive menu but spot on for what you're there for. Ramen! It was delicious.
Great update to the interior.
Fresh, authentic and flavorful Ramen that will leave you wanting more! Every bowl at Ai Ramen is balanced and filled with a punch of flavor.
The Food - Tasteful and fresh, cooked in a clean kitchen and environment. Everyone was wearing masks.
The Menu - Simple. No cut corners or fluff. Try the Karaage Chicken..you won't be disappointed
Atmosphere - Very open and clean. Plenty of seating with a hint of underground hip-hop in the background.
All in All 5/5 - I have always said that Corvallis needed a good Ramen shop in north town. I hope they do well and serve consistent bowls of fantastic ramen!
Great food and great service. The Ai Ramen was hearty with a rich, creamy broth and the soft boiled egg cooked perfectly. The chicken karaage was moist and tender with just the right amount of seasoning that goes well with the spicy mayo. The agedashi tofu was deliciously crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, although the broth seemed to be sharper and saltier than most other places have; I personally prefer it to be more on the sweet side, but it was good nonetheless. Unfortunately I only ordered one quail egg skewer and wasn't able to get a good sense of the taste, but the mantou skewer was great with the condensed milk on the side and would make a very good dessert for the meal. The staffers were attentive, courteous, and seemed to have things together fairly well for a restaurant on it's first day. I will definitely be coming here again and am eager to see how the restaurant develops after a month or two.
