Grilled Cheese Society

Sandwiches were a good value and tasted pretty great. The tomato soup also had good flavor, I just would’ve liked to have seen a larger portion. The mac and cheese left a lot to be desired. Grilled Cheese Society is a virtual restaurant located inside Benchwarmer’s Bar & Grill.

Ordered from The Grilled Cheese Society today via Door Dash. I ordered the Blue Plate Special. This came with some Tomato soup, 1 giant cookie, the Grilled Cheese itself and a coke.

The Soup was delicious, it tasted good and wasn't seasoned so much that you couldn't taste the tomato. The sandwich itself though, I was a bit disappointed in. The bread was hard to chew, the cheese on the inside was tough to bite into, wasn't melted all the way. When I have a grilled cheese, I want a gooey, cheesy sandwich, not a hard, tough sandwich.

The cookie was also cooked unevenly, Some parts were incredibly hard to bite into, while others were somewhat okay.

Overall, while it was okay, it's far too expensive. It costs $17.00, which is being marked up by at least 500% so it's quite expensive. For what you get, I just cannot recommend this dish.
