Izzy’s

I happen to love Izzy's in Newport. Not the greatest food. It's like Ma's cooking. But good service, nice view...and very clean!!!

The food is incredible. Always fresh, and always plenty full. The salad bar was incredibly clean, and everything was in its proper place. Not a single piece of brown lettuce. Everything was fresh and perfect.

Great buffet especially during Thanksgiving. Good food and great pizza and salad bar. Very courteous and friendly staff.

Izzy's is a memory from my childhood, so it holds a special place in my heart. It's not typically super crowded at this location, which is a plus in my book, and the staff are friendly. You have your typical Izzy's fare, and of course it's all you can eat. The food isn't great, but it's definitely good enough and I'm a fan of eating exactly how much I want and not having to worry about leftovers. The cinnamon rolls are awesome and the fruit is normally pretty good too. The prices are fair (I believe it was $10 for the lunch buffet last time I went in 2019, no drink).
