The vegetables were delightful and the use of sauce is reminiscent of Yum's cafe. They've got a nice outdoor area, partially covered, with a couple fire pit tables.
Unfortunately, service leaves something to be desired. When they have more than a dozen customers there is a big delay between placing order and food, 20-30min. Additionally, they ran out of some ingredients (rice cakes) but served the dish as-is without explanation. These things happen but it's important the establishment takes responsibility and offers recompense, they did not and thus this was poorly handled.
My son and I got the Decadent Chilean Saute (vegan sauce) and the Earthly Garden Curry, and neither one of us could decide which we loved more...so we split both. Absolutely amazing vegan GF food, and Peter (our charming man behind the counter) was a thrill to talk to. Highly recommended!!
Delicious. Filling. Affordable. Fun. Simply an outstanding institution. Will make you wonder where you've been all this time and why you weren't at...No Nations!
The food was amazing and the restaurant is so nice! We can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can sit on the patio. Next time we go we want to try the vegetarian crab cakes they looked incredible.
What a laid back and ambient restaurant with so much greenery to enjoy your yummy meal! I ordered the grilled cheese and was pleasantly surprised to see that they have add on options! The grilled cheese was more substantial than your regular at-home G.C and with add-on options too like: pesto, prosciutto, chili oil and cilantro lime sauce.... it takes a familiar childhood comfort food and turns it into a heartier adult meal. I'll be honest, my expectation was that a grilled cheese would be pair with something general and common like fries or something else battered or fried...but when I received the plate and saw the tabbouleh, it all made sense. The richness of the very generously portioned cheese and the saltiness from the prosciutto and chili oil I added made a FANTASTIC pair with the light and refreshing tabbouleh. Again, IT ALL MADE SENSE. I really enjoyed my time at No Nations. Looking forward to the warmer and drier months to enjoy their ample patio seating as well. Will be back again!
