Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

We go because my grandson loves the entertainment factor of the food being cooked at the table. Our chef is always engaging, personable and makes the food prep an event. It is the highlight of the meal. The food is consistent and good. The atmosphere needs updating, the place feels dingy and they don't know how to make a good cocktail. If the atmosphere and bar were on par with the chefs I'd give them five stars!

Took my daughter for lunch here and let's just say this is our new favorite spot. The sushi menu is massive, prices are fair, and service was fast. I got the Alaskan roll, Corvallis roll, and Lobster roll. All were delicious and looked amazing. Only complaint is that I wish I found it sooner.????

Service was great. Our joining parties food arrived at a reasonable time, and tasted great. However, upon ordering the sushi, I and my wife waited 40+ minutes for simple rolls (spicy tuna, dragon roll, and Alaska roll). When we ordered our rolls it was not busy, though I do believe there was some confusion as the establishment began to pick up, and upon inquiring as to a wait time, I was told "soon", which was 20 minutes into ordering. When the rolls did arrive, they were made with the same quality as a store bought roll. I like this restaurant, and am disappointed by the experience. Hopefully my next visit will change this review.
