Cha Cha Cha Mexican Taqueria

This place was amazing. The molcajete was one of the best things I've had in a long time.

Nice place to grab a bite in Milwaukie. Semi-counter-service, which is nice if you're in a hurry, but there's still also some wait service if you don't want to get up

Tasty, fresh Mexican food. Fast & friendly service. Kid friendly. This place is almost always busy.

You order when you're ready and the staff is ready to answer questions or help in any way they can. The food came out quickly and was very very good. Highly recommend stopping by if you want good Mexican food and a nice environment.

Note, this is independent restaurant from the Cha Cha Cha chain in Portland which we also like.
We go here often. Going out for tacos is one of our common restaurant targets. The tacos here are superb. Great variety, 3 types of fish tacos, 4 beef, 4 pork and 4 chicken to choose from. Comfortable non-pretentious furnishings. Delicious, quality ingredients and preparation. I would compare food quality to Taqueria Nueve a pricier and more trendy taco place in Portland. Don't get me wrong, visit Taqueria Nueve too.
While this is a place your order and seat your self restaurant I say must say the people there are what also brings me back. They always visit our table to make sure we are happy with the food. They quickly recognized us as returning customers and now greet us as friends when we return. As we leave we often hear a friendly an adios and a wave coming from the counter workers and cooks. Some places the atmosphere is in the decor, some it is in the warmth and friendliness of the place. This is the friendly place.
