Shari's Cafe and Pies

They have geese that wander the parking lot. We got chased by one for a second! (I don't consider this a bad thing... it was pretty funny). Other than that, this place is typical for a sit-down chain restaurant. The food is average, the staff is friendly, and service is quick. We have been back several times and will continue to do so. They recently added a vegan burger option, which makes going here a bit easier.

I will give this a 3 star review simply because my meal (the chopped steak) was really good! The broccoli was cooked perfectly; just enough crunch.

Now, what my wife and I observed is a different story. Servers wiping their nose with the back of their hands while making shakes, and children running around behind the counter. Very unprofessional!

My wife and I were excited thinking that quality had improved at this store, but maybe not.

I would like to recommend that management retrain all staff in hygiene and keeping the store orderly and clean.

Great food and Tammy was a wonderful server! She was attentive and personable, and the food was hot and flavorful. Although my sweetie said the meat for the tacos could have had more flavor. I really enjoyed the spring omelette with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado and cheese. Yum!

always laid back and friendly servers , last time there I ordered a new york steak plate not expecting much more than OK. It showed up sizzling , I took a breath and all I could smell was that steak. Honestly it was a perfectly cooked medium and tenders as I've ever had. I loved everything bit and won't forget that meal anytime soon.
