As a Midwest native, I'd like to think I know decent BBQ. After moving to Portland 2yrs ago, it was hard to find places that reminded me of the stuff I grew up on.

I sat at the bar where Ben and Lizzie were fantastic at guiding me through the menu and the small but incredible beer selection. I was generously sampled a beer I was curious about, and the service was attentive despite how busy they were.

The BBQ sampler was excellent, and served with a proper slice of white bread - as it should be! Another hint, pay the dollar to try all 3 sauces. This place is absolutely worth a trip even if you aren't planning on hitting the mountain.

Awesome vibes, and the BBQ here is AMAZING! Friendly staff and atmosphere, and the karaoke anr open mic nights were a blast. Definitely coming back next time I pass through Oregon. The ribs especially were incredible... So soft and flavorful!

I've past this restaurant so many time! Thanks goodness my husband researched Google a d found this delicious restaurant. I had the mac n cheese with a side of pulled pork. It was very delicious. My husband had the tofu sandwich. The tofu was fried to perfection and tossed in BBQ sauce. Definitely recommend to vegans! The fried pickles, french fries, and drinks are also amazing!

The one blonde lady was very rude when we walked through the door. Maybe she was overwhelmed (even though it wasn’t that busy) but she seemed aggressive. Later she brought a drink out and got an attitude to our table when nobody claimed it quickly enough. Our main server was sweet. The fried pickles portion was small, but the rest of the food was good. Had cozy decorations and a warm atmosphere. Hit or miss.

Love this place! Good drinks, amazing food to die for! I absolutely love the environment, one of a kind.
Definitely coming here after I get off work everyday.
