Canard Oregon City

We loved dinner at the new Oregon City Canard! Great location, beautiful interior, and attentive staff. The food was super fresh and delicious. We ordered the watermelon salad, steak frites, gnocchi, and the peach cobbler. Each one was a hit! I’ll definitely be going again.

Visited a few days ago. The space is beautiful and the service was very good. There were many people helping out which is ways good to see. The patio could maybe use some plants or something. The food overall was good, not quite as good as the sister location but maybe there are growing pains. We had shrimp cocktails wraps which was unique and flavorful, the fish sauce cocktail sauce was amazing. We kind of wished the shrimp was chopped up and in the sauce. The sliders were solid, same as original canard. The mixed salad was basic, I did like the crunch quinoa. The scallops were seared perfectly with a great sauce, however, the broccoli just did not go with the dish, it was just steamed and didn’t add anything. I think another vegetable would be better. I was really excited for the dole whip sundae, however, the roasted bananas were not at all ripe, they tasted like a hard plantain. I’m guessing they ran out of ripe bananas, but it really wasn’t good like that so I was bummed. The rest was was very tart and very sweet. Overall it was good, I’d come back and try some other things.

Super attentive wait staff, clean space with open kitchen and fresh local products used. Dishes were a little small for the price but it was all super tasty. We'll be back to try dessert next. Definitely worth trying!

This is the perfect place to treat yourself or significant other to a date night. Everything we had was phenomenal. The house and off menu cocktails were beautifully crafted and strong with complex flavors. We had to slow down to savor the ricotta gnocchi and steam burgers as even though the plates looked small, they were very flavorful and filling. Their dole whip and soft serve were the perfect end to a satisfying night. Excellent wine list and service as well.
