Attentive friendly service. Pizza was not great, but was better than ok (pepperoni was quite salty). Garlic knots and Cinnamon knots were excellent. Wings were very good, too. They no longer do house made root beer and cream soda :( .

Right now, if you’re scrolling through looking for the best place to eat....stop now! I can’t believe this place doesn’t have 1,000+ reviews. We shared a 1/2 Kodiac 1/2 Papa Bear pizza and some hot wings. This is the best pizza I’ve had in years, and the best in Oregon hands down! The sauce, seasoning, meats and crust were all amazing. The pepperonis were those little delicious ones that kind of curl up on the edges, too. The wings were super flavorful too. Staff was very friendly too.

Oh yeah, and if you run into their regular names Bob, he was a good time to talk to too!

Ivy Bear is as much a staple of Mt. Hood as Timberline Lodge itself. Located the perfect distance between the mountain and town, a visit to Hood is incomplete without a stop at this distinguished congenial culinary gem of an establishment. Ivy Bear will leave you full, satisfied and remind you that this area is a very special corner of America.

First off, the garlic knots are unquestionably the best west of the Mississippi. Actually scratch that, best in the world—not an exaggeration. The staff will pour you a frosted mug of Boneyard with the PERFECT head that will make you never want to drink another kind of beer. The folks that work here will make you feel like family. And turns out they have super powers—they will bring you an extra side of ranch before you even realize you want it. One of Oregon’s finest, if it was possible to give this place 6/5 stars that still wouldn’t be enough!

Enjoyed this place for a nice 2 day stay... great food .. and very comfortable room. Had some wonderful pizza and enjoyed chats w the owner about local history..

The pizza is delicious. The chicken little is amazing!! The garlic knots are especially tasty!! My family and I will certainly make this a regular stop. The interior is clean and well kept. The staff are super friendly. I look forward to coming back :) Thank you!!
