What an absolutely wonderful experience! We were looking for vegan food during the quarantine and we're overjoyed to spot a food cart that said "vegan friendly". We ordered vegan tamales, polcanes, and barra and couldn't have been more pleased. The grilled veggies were perfectly cooked and deliciously seasoned. The French bread of the barra was toothy but still soft on the inside. The marinated onions atop The polcanes were tangy, sweet, and still sharp in their tomato sauce bed. To keep it short the food was fantastic and we'll definitely return when we're near Sandy. Lastly, a big thank you to the proprietor for the safety screen In front of the ordering window and his stellar cleaning practices of the cart and tables during quarantine.
